Dear Friends
Spanning almost fifty years EUHOFA annual congresses have been arranged
in a host of different places across the globe and participants have had insights
and encounters with a wide variety of hotel and tourism schools, cultural and
historical sights and attractions in many countries. We are greatly honoured
and pleased to welcome you in our tiny Nordic country Estonia which boasts
remarkably rich nature, history and culture and where hospitality industry and
education have advanced at a great speed to very high standards. Our aim is
to pleasantly surprise you with active engagement in all congress activities.
We believe that congress's academic programme is rich in content for creative
development of hospitality education and thus can improve everybody's quality
of life and wellness through skills and competencies of our alumni.
We are looking forward to meeting you on 25-29 September 2011 at the 50th
EUHOFA International World Congress. Why not let your colleagues and
companions know about this special occasion and bring them too?

50 years of
EUHOFA International!
Dear friends of
EUHOFA
International
|
2011 will be another important milestone in the rich history of
EUHOFA International. During the year we will be celebrating our
Golden Jubilee at our 50th congress. On this 50th birthday we are
proud to be able to say that we still represent most of the leading
Hotel and Tourism Schools of the world. For almost 50 years the more
than 200 members from 5 continents have formed a tight network based
on professionalism and friendship. This is undoubtedly unique in
today’s individual oriented society.
To give this 50th congress an extra dimension, we have chosen a
really special destination:
ESTONIA!
For the first time in EUHOFA history, a congress is organised in
Eastern Europe. Estonia has now been independent for almost 20 years,
and stands as a symbol for a dynamic nation with a hardworking,
creative and inspired population with a clear vision of the future.
This spirit is what EUHOFA International stands for and is what
we find in our colleagues from Tallinn and Pärnu.
Dear EUHOFA-friends, we are happy to announce that the 50th
EUHOFA International World Congress will take place from
25th to 29th September 2011
in Pärnu & Tallinn, Estonia.
This will be a once in a lifetime experience and it would be fantastic if most EUHOFA members would be able to attend. This exceptional congress promises to be an unforgettable event with heartwarming surprises.
Filiep Defraye,
President
EUHOFA International
